On the overlay button how about a manual button to press to take a picture(aswell as the pause button) incase youre doing long picture intervals, but there is a specific picture you want..

A pause button is likely to be confusing to most users. You can simply press photo overlay button to turn it off and then turn it on to take a photo, can't you? Since you can't see the camera viewfinder when you see the overlay, how wold you know you want to take a photo at that moment? A manual button to take a photo at any time may possibly cause camera problems/errors if the user press it too frequently. Can you describe your scenario where these buttons or features would be useful? If your scenario make sense, we will consider your request for future version.
